Welcome

"...successful learning occurs when learners have ownership of their learning; when they understand the goals they are aiming for; when, crucially, they are motivated and have the skills to achieve success."*

Our Mission

The mission of the Multimedia Centre is to develop, facilitate, manage, evaluate and support teaching and learning activities within the Faculty which utilise educational technologies.

This is in order to:

  1. uphold the Faculty's teaching and learning priorities in relation to the extension of eLearning activities throughout all discipline groups, and
  2. meet the needs of an increasing cohort of digital age learners.

Our Key Activities

  • eLearning: the development and/or support of learning systems that enhance the learning experience of students within the Faculty and around UWA
  • Student Projects: the management and support of projects which allow students to create and construct with technologies as part of the learning process
